Lemon Jelly Lost Horizons 300x300 We're Listening To : Lemon Jelly Lost HorizonsNice and chilled for a Friday afternoon, it’s been a long time since Lemon Jelly’s Lost Horizons was rolled out but what a classic. Released in 2002, Lost Horizons was the second album to be released by the London Duo but the first true studio album, Lemonjelly.ky being their first EP release.

From the sublime ‘Ramblin Man’ through to the more widely known ‘Nice Weather for Ducks’ this album holds no major surprises or twists and turns but it does deliver a solid much melodic constant feel all the way through making it ideal background music. No chilling one minute and then having to bounce of the walls the next!

Under their own admission Fred Deakin and Nick Franglen are on hiatus since 2008 but are open to working together in the future. Fred Deakin collaborated with Robin Jones of The Beta Band as ‘Flashman’ releasing the album ‘To the Victor- The Spoils’ in 2011.
