Right up there with the best albums of last year. A “friend” likened Still Life to something Simple Minds would have come up with. I’m pretty sure that’s not a good thing. We haven’t spoken since.
At the risk of you never talking to me again I playlisted Simple Minds compilation of the first 5 albums – X5 and it’s pretty good really. A lot of influential stuff when you listen to it now. Admittedly the later stuff became a bit pretentious
